i'm seeing -900 on http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=^DJI

but -200 on the shot of the big board in the exchange on CNBC....


Hell of a day for them to have an error.

3. They've still got the opening number at 9,261.69, although the day's drop seems right now.

I think they were using yesterday's opening number to calculate today's drop.

4. Probably a Value Added Feature!
Us programmers often make these silly mistakes. I was made a change to a program that would send a text message to a group of cell phones whenever an error occurred. However, due to my own silliness I ended up send 100 message for every one error. Unfortunately, this happened to occur when we had a large number of errors. I sent over 6000 text messages to these poor peoples cell phones.

7. I nearly had a stroke about 30 minutes ago when I checked Google-Business
They were showing a huge drop in the Dow, but they too have corrected their numbers.
