Thom Hartman is always fantastic on financial affairs. Many progressive radio shows only skirt the financial issue, but Thom consistently makes the financial picture a part of his show. My guess is he will have some good people on today. So, give a listen

Thom's forum is not as large as ours, (few are) but it does have a a bunch of fairly smart folks on it. It also has a couple of Boortz Freemarketeers to practice your economics debate skills on. (Steer clear of 'em unless you enjoy debate, they are quite good at what they do!) (Oh, even the resident freeper isn't such a bad sort-folks there don't seem to treat him too harshly and one needs to give him credit for his persistence.)

I further recommend Hartman's book. My fave: "SCREWED" deals with the economic war against the Middle Class. It is a GREAT read for even the most economics challenged, (me) and it puts our current economic woes into historic context to include the who's and whys of how we arrived where we are now. I am on my fourth copy and like the prior three copies it is loaned out with little chance that I'll ever see it again either. I have also read, "WHAT WOULD JEFFERSON DO?" and "CRACKING THE CODE". In the first Hartmann teaches us about Jefferson and his plans for our nation in the second he teaches us about the way we learn through our words and how the republicans are using words against us-how our very thoughts are being shaped using linguistics.
