The people who are included in the colloquial "We're in deep shit" includes a LOT of ......

..... people who suckled at the teat of greed and unfettered Republicanism.

"Us and Them" has a whole new meaning.

If, as some here aver, this was a planned event, the usual suspects are getting burned by having started a conflagration that got away from them ..... fast.

To me, it seems this was simply a naturally occurring event. One that, in fact, had applied to it every measure of financial life support that could be mustered, even before **we** knew it was happening.

And maybe that's a bit of good news. The lights are on VERY bright. White hats are riding into town. They're not there yet, but they're coming. Within ..... oh ..... twenty six days or so.

To mix my metaphors further ....... The ship of state has rat guards on the hawser lines. Those who scurried early are very likely to be left out of the sailing on the rising tide to come.
