Hoohaa! Gas is $2.70 here

Filled up my gas tank in my Escape this afternoon for $37. That was nice.
I am in western Kansas... We have dropped 45 cents per gallon since the beginning of the week.
I hope this holds out for a little while. At least it means I'm not as pressured to find a job closer to home. . . I have a 20 mile commute one way and use a tank a gas a week.
I read an article on Yahoo today that said that Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri are all under $3/gal.
I'd be willing to bet we'll be up to at least $4 by the middle of next summer. . . oh well, enjoy it while it lasts.

I had a feeling the * administration was going to weasel the price down just before the election. Too bad the rest of the economy is circling the bowl.

I thought the same thing and was not surprised that I only paid $37 to fill up my car this morning. First time in weeks it's cost me under $45. Oh....I'm in the DFW metroplex.

2. Kansas City, MO here. I got gas yesterday and I'm sure it was

$1.65 a gallon for regular unleaded. It may even have gone down to $1.59...........

8. It shows that so much of the price is determined by futures investors,

and not by supply and demand. They need to somehow disconnect oil prices from the stock market, because these fluctuations are a threat not just to our country, but the whole world.
