Secretary of State Project

I'm late on the uptake, but I finally learned about the Secretary of State Project: http://www.secstateproject.org/.

My husband just got back from a biz trip to California, where he also was able to visit his brother who lives in the state. In their talk about politics, his bro mentioned the SOSP, which has been successful in helping to get funds devoted to Secretary of State races in probable swing states. Remember our good friends, Kathleen Harris (from election theft 2000 in Fla.) and Kenneth Blackwell (Ohio SOS in the 2004 presidential election)? Well, the Secretary of State project has helped to get Dems elected to SOS positions crucial states like Ohio. But the SOSP still needs more help getting more Dems into more crucial Secretary of State offices. So if you happen to have an extra dollar or two that you don't need (a lot to ask given the current economic meltdown, I know), consider giving what you can to the Secretary of State Project.
