Has Palin been stripped of her 'hockey mom' status?
I don't think they'll be using that little moniker to describe her anymore.

12. Sarah Palin's idea was that if she dressed Piper in a Flyers jersey, then...
...the audience wouldn't boo:

"The GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said at an earlier fundraiser that she would stop some of the booing from the rowdy Philadelphia fans by putting her seven year old daughter, Piper in a Flyers jersey. She said, 'How dare they boo Piper!'"

4. Those heathens were downright evil.
Why do they hate America? Why do they hate God?

5. Yeah she's kind of ruined the imagery behind that moniker.

6. Ignore the boos. Ignore the catcalls. Just watch her drop the puck!
THIS is a "Hockey Mom?" She holds and drops the puck like it's a pile of dog doo. Had she ever held a hockey puck in her hand before this event? You can almost hear her saying, "Oh, ick! Nasty puck!"

8. I had the same reaction. She looked completely disconnected
and "girly".

9. I thought so too...
No jersey? What the hell was that getup? And yeah, she clearly had never picked up a puck in her life.

10. And check out the REAL (hardworking winner of the contest) - she was what one would
expect to resemble. A true loving and hardworking MOM who always puts her *family* first.

Not a plastic woman mugging for the cameras in A TRENCH COAT?!?

I don't think Sarah Palin knows what true, hard working hockey moms do in support of their CHILDREN not constituents. :(
