WTF? Did anyone else see the first 30 minutes of Meet the Press today? Corzine was left twiddling his thumbs at the end of the segment while Brokaw served up a "softball" question to the Repuke on the discussion panel.
No firm or strong follow-up questions.
Focus on McCain to the exclusion of Obama.
Minimizing Obama's record or debate performances by quoting David Brooks (Repuke).
WTF? Get the asshole Repuke Brokaw out of there and replace him with a journalist worthy of Russert's reputation.
millions of americans that watches this show. And is up to us to hold them accountable. DU doesn't have to tune in and give them ratings but Americans will continue to watch it. So, our job is to contact Meet the Press adn give Brokaw some fire for not being fair. It is our job to watch and if see what is happening to day to report it and give them HELL.
We must hold that freaking ass Brakaw and NBC accountable.
For some reason, my sense of him had always been that he was pretty fair and unbiased, but I admit I wasn't looking at him through the current filters.
4. He certainly wasn't fair and balanced when he INSISTED that Keith and Chris be pulled from events.
Brokaw "liasoned" with the McCain campaign after they bitched about Keith and Chris. So, McCain campaign complains about unfavorable coverage (i.e., truth about their shit) and Brokaw kneels at their lap. That suggests that he is more interested in currying favor with the Repukes than being a fair journalist. He capitulated in the face of bullying behavior by the McCain campaign rather than being a honest and resolute journalist.
20. He was bought out in the early 90's. I wouldn't be surprised if I heard
it was earlier. He is Jack Welsh product. He is one of many prime examples of people who earned a degree in Journalism and practiced it for a portion of his career. I also wouldn't be surprsed if I heard that he was bought out leterally. He is one of the wastes of this Party.
that spot. We know where she stands on Repub v. Dem but she would be very good because she is a real reporter and not a butt-kisser. She would be fair to everyone.
