Getting unwanted phone calls? Re-Register at www.donotcall.gov.

If you registered prior to Feb 2008, your number may have dropped off the list. Re-registering doesn't take much time and you can register up to 3 numbers at once!

DoNotCall.gov

This only works for solicitors not, unfortunately, relatives.

2. I've used this in past years and it has worked well, but I also had an unlisted number.

This summer I got a voip phone and a new number and now I only get calls from those to whom I have given my number.

4. Me too, we've been getting lots of calls with faked CID with nobody on the end.

BTW, I grew up in Chalmette. Not sure how much of Chalmette is left, but seeing your fleur de lis unexpectedly brings back some memories best saved for a lazy Sunday morning- like this one.

Chalmette like New Orleans is trying to work itself back, slowly but surely.

I'm a New Orleans native, but I've been over here in Slidell 20 years.

We had a lot of Chalmettians over here after the storm.

I talked to many of them and every single one was homesick for Chalmette. They appreciated Slidell, but they just wanted to go home to their neighborhoods, friends and family.

I think most of them returned as I haven't run into any of them for some time.
