Cheapest its been in months (due to rising dollar, declining oil). It was close to $5.50 a few months ago

13. One of those inexplicable coincidences. every 4 years, right before
the presidential election, the free market gas prices fall. after the elections, the completely free market prices go back up.

17. the decline prior to elections actually happens every year
due to the end of the summer "driving" season.

prices start to climb again in january.
