Officials: Financial crisis can lead to violence
An out-of-work money manager in California loses a fortune and wipes out his family in a murder-suicide. A 90-year-old Ohio widow shoots herself in the chest as authorities arrive to evict her from the modest house she called home for 38 years.

In Massachusetts, a housewife who had hidden her family's mounting financial crisis from her husband sends a note to the mortgage company warning: "By the time you foreclose on my house, I'll be dead."

Then Carlene Balderrama shot herself to death, leaving an insurance policy and a suicide note on a table.

Across the country, authorities are becoming concerned that the nation's financial woes could turn increasingly violent, and they are urging people to get help. In some places, mental-health hot lines are jammed, counseling services are in high demand and domestic-violence shelters are full.

4.  Anger directed outward
Aimed at the CAUSE of this misery is preferable
to Anger directed inward as self blame.

Any person who is forced to be helpless by USURY, using suicide to relieve the threats and financial abuse caused by OUTSIDE forces of the GREED of a few and distant assholes and their companies with many greedy tendrils sucking the life out of everyone they can.Should be supported, not condemned. The greedy rich that's who need to be condemned.

7. Usury
Please remind those that might not know. Usury was a crime done away with in the fifties, had to do with charging more then 10% interest. Bach then the shylocks got less then Credit card companies get today 33% is allowed, along with late fees, over limit fees and fees that just magically appear on your bill.

3. The greedy FUCKERS!!
NOBODY should be forced by a bank or some other fucking greedy company to feel they have no other option but to kill themselves to escape financial ABUSE. it is ABUSE the fucking greedy as BANKS and CEO 's are ROBBING them blind.FUCK WALL STREET GREED .LET THE RICH BE DAMNED,Fail and fall. They HAVE ENOUGH .more than enough. So they need to get their bloated heads out of the trough NOW.
Goddammit.I HATE rich"successful psychopaths" that are fucking over everyone else.

As for the people losing everything because of swindling wealthy pigs who have no shame in their greed,I feel so sad.

I feel it is better TAX the wealthy and take the excess via taxes or let the Corporations DIE than to let one struggling person commit suicide from the financial pressure and ruin imposed by the bankers and Ceo's and their fucking insatiable greed.
GREED IS NOT GOOD, IT KILLS.
THE GREEDY CREATE THE NEEDY.And if the needy can't cope with the corporate financial abuse and die it is the FAULT of the greedy.
BLAME IT ON THE CEO's and all their enablers..

The rich should be so ashamed of themselves, they should be killing themselves in droves in a fit of self loathing..I pity no rich persons who whine they can't afford another house or boat.
While people are killing themselves because of unrelenting unreasonable, unnecessary financial pressures..

The poor people losing everything are trying so hard but the greed of the few hinders them from surviving and that is pure EVIL.

FUCK THE RICH..The rich are worthless selfish evil hearted scumbags.

Those people killing themselves it's not right. It's so fucking wrong. It makes my heart scream in sadness and I want my claws to rip the air in protest.. because the rich that are causing this could care less. They obviously don't care about these people they squeeze to death, who feel so threatened, feel they are unable to survive, feel trapped by the financial pressures and usurious abuses and fear no one will be able to stop this financial abuse.

This financial abuse of the people I fear will continue and get worse until an outside force makes the rich greedy bullies stop robbing people, stop setting them up to fail and stop screwing them over with mind fucks and changing the rules of interest rates, contracts and such at their whims. Abusing them to the point the people trying to survive this abuse kill themselves.

Sometimes you really have to rise up and and dare to punch the bully fucker in the nose good and hard and make him bleed to force him to stop taking the weaker kid's lunch money..

Financial abuse by banks, creditors, loan sharks, the unfair tax codes, government unwillingness to control corporate wealth, and regulate wall street, all of this shit is abusive..Financial abuse is what is driving these people to suicide.
And we all are being financially abused by the rigged, unfair unreasonable ,system and those pigs who profit the most from it.

Financial Abuse

Financial abuse can take many forms, from denying you all access to funds, to making you solely responsible for all finances while handling money irresponsibly himself.(like Gold man Sachs,AIG etc.) Money becomes a tool by which the abuser(or Ceo's) can further control the victim, ensuring either her financial dependence on him,(the rigged system) or shifting the responsibility of keeping a roof over the family's head onto the victim while simultaneously denying your ability to do so or obstructing you.
(the last part is the killer)

Financial abuse can include the following:

* preventing you from getting or keeping a job
(and this is occurring everywhere as money trickles up)

* having to account for every penny spent
(citizens have to do this but the government, banks and corporations are exempted WHY?)

* denying access to cheque book/account/finances
(some banks freeze accounts or take money out)

* spending money allocated to bills/groceries on himself
(Like washington senators going to Galapagos island to study but it is really a vacation at taxpayer expense, or Enron type shit)

* forcing you to beg or commit crimes for money
(wonder why crime rates for theft are seemingly more common? and homeless shelters are full and food banks short on food?)

* spending Child Benefit on himself
(corporate welfare pigs cutting programs to help the poor, disabled and homeless)
* not permitting you to spend available funds on yourself or children

(no job,no funds, kids going hungry and society shames the victims, first. Yet still ignores who creates this problem, the wealthy and those who enable abusive greed)

Think about it.The parallels between and abusive individual financially abusing a person financially and institutions committing financial abuse on a massive scale are very startling in similarity.

Even though I don't want to focus too much on the loser Palin family, they should just all disappear into obscurity to "be kind"

5. Well, duh! They're just NOW figuring that out?
Guess they've never been hounded by creditors by phone and mail. Getting 10 calls a day from each place. Being told they were lazy, worthless, and basically a piece of shit.

Implying or saying straight out that you are a liar if you say, no, I can't pay you a zillion dollars a month, I can only pay you $50 a month. Or I can't pay you anything right now because I lost my job.

Jeebus Christ on a crutch! What planet do these people live on?

10. greedy people
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 12:24 AM by undergroundpanther
born into wealth never have to see the results of their own greed, the little people are so far away, from them they can put their piggy minds at ease. Because they never have to be responsible, they don't see the woman killing herself, they see that tragedy as an opportunity to collect more money. It's all about grabbing hands grabbing all they can.

Denial and scapegoating those irresponsible unwashed masses who can't pay bills on time like the rich person does with ease,is a by product attitude caused by being rich and insulated.A rich pig can believe shit like the just world theory and think it is true because life has been easy for them. So it is easy for the rich to blame and scapegoat the people they victimize and claim they caused their own suffering by not paying up on time..

Since the wealthy are the abusers of all the other classes they exploit they see themselves as "elites" and entitled...especially when wealth insulates the rich pigs from the ugly cruel reality that is made of the world just to maintain their insatiable greed and pampered lifestyles..the rich can deny so easy the damage they cause.

The costs of the rich lifestyles DO effect the lives of other people, adversely. You cannot have so much excess without depriving others of what they NEED. Rich people can sleep soundly because the suffering of the ones PAYING for this rich assholes perfect life are people they will never meet, people the rich see as inferiors, who are faceless numbers on a balance sheet, and faceless masses glimpsed from, the Rolls Royce window,so far,far away..from the gated mansions, the poor don't even exist as real people..

The rich are not about to share ANYTHING unless they are FORCED to.
As the rich see it,Greed IS good.
