for anyone, right?

Why are the Republicans so upset, they might be casting out votes for their candidates!

1. Because the lower numbers of voters that vote means 2 things
1) the republicon party wins with low voter turn out 2) the fewer the voters the easier it is for the republicons to steal elections.

3. Simple 1.3 million new registered voters
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 10:04 PM by notaboutus
So, if 10% are fraudulent (which is in no way ACORN's doing), that is still roughly 1 million 170 thousand newly registered voters. They are already sick about the early voters. Have you noticed they quit talking about it? At this point they are worried about congress and possibly taking out a 5 million dollar loan to help senate races (they're broke). So ACORN is a diversion and another chance to smear Obama by association, although the U.S. Dept of Justice would also have to be included using the republicans logic.

4. the registration applications..
do not turn into votes unless the Board of Elections verify them and put those names on the rolls. I don't know exactly what the Republicans are trying to do here, except to put doubts into the validity of the elections...which must mean that they are extremely worried. The fact that half the states now use paper when voting, so those votes can be recounted, plus the work so many like Greg Palast have done regarding the purges going on, may have left them short of ideas as to how to steal the election. They are going to do everything they can to make it as hard as possible for people to vote.
