Mr Obvious says: As the stock market continues to slide, 500 point losses
become bigger & bigger % losses.

Right now it's down 4+% down 400+ points, before this 400 points was about 1-2%.

2. believe it or not...percentages are lost on some people
and all they focus on is the raw number...

tell them stocks fell 50 pts today and they think nothing of it...tell them that when the DOW is only at 100 and maybe they MIGHT notice a difference...

i blame it on education and sensationalist media hype...
