5. I ain't writin' off nuttin'!!!!!!
I agree with you. The demographics show how it is possible. This is true in many 'red' states, which are more myth than actually red.

For us, the key is getting out a VERY heavy turnout on November 4.

6. Reverse coattails from Ronnie Musgrove may help Obama in MS.
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 01:49 PM by billyoc
Musgrove is a well loved former governor, the incumbent is a stiff nobody ever heard of, appointed by Haley Barbour to serve out the rest of Trent Lott's term when Trent bailed for K Street before the new "cooling off" period for ex-Senators went into effect.

7. I don't know what the chance of Obama
winning Mississippi is. But we do have to admit to significant change in the state. Seeing the debate held at Ole Miss was an example. I was stationed at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Miss when Meridith was admitted to Ole Miss and could never have imagined a black candidate for any office being welcomed there.

8. Going by the last polls on 538 and EV
It wouldn't surprise me. Obama's trailing in both, but by narrower and narrower amounts, and the last polls are a few weeks old.

9. The people seem to be awakening...how 'bout 423?
Georgia is still questionable according to tv polls, but Bob Barr may take just enough from McCain..
