I was in Dallas yesterday
Saw LOTS of campaign signs, etc.
Most noticeable, the signs that didn't have party affiliation stood out like sore thumbs.
BUT...I saw MANY signs from several candidates that had "Have you had enough? Vote Democratic" or simply "Vote Democratic".
Brilliant! Even for those who didn't have signs they were reminding folks to vote Democratic...not just for them.
Saw this great gentrified neighborhood near the Baylor downtown hospital that had Obama signs in at least every other yard--around the Elm, Carroll, and Munger Streets.
It is really the first SOLIDLY politically involved area that I have seen since the campaigns started.

5. Aw, man - we had a Noriega/Clinton rally yesterday in Dallas
Standing room only, with two thousand Democrats crowded into a cramped high school auditorium where the AC was turned off. But it was a hoot nonetheless.

3. Yep. Even up here in Collin County their signs are blue and white
and the word "Republican" is nowhere to be seen.

6. I noticed the same thing in Indian when we visited there last week.
Nobody claimed to be a Republican.

Even the ads on teevee weren't credited. But you could tell who the Republics were because all they talked about were low taxes.
