Crist: GOP may be exaggerating voter fraud
Florida's governor says his fellow Republicans may be exaggerating claims of voter fraud in the state.

Gov. Charlie Crist said Wednesday that he has confidence in Secretary of State Kurt Browning, who says there's only been a scattering of isolated incidents.

Crist said in the closing days of any campaign "there are some who sort of enjoy chaos." There may be more of that going on than fraud, he said.

The Republican National Committee and GOP presidential candidate John McCain have accused an activist group of fraudulently registering people in Florida and other states. It has focused on young people, minorities and others seen as more likely to support Democrat Barack Obama.

6. Does he have a Mr. Puddles too?
Guess Crist doesn't want to have all his Snausages in one basket come 11/5.

8. because he's afraid of blowback and opening up ELection Fraud Accusations
he's also worried about the spot light being placed on the GOP's effort to disenfranchise voters.

9. I believe I read in the last few days that Crist was one of the Repugs
who were disgusted with McCain and Palin. There were several names, but I can't remember who they were. I remembered Crist as a Repug from Florida keeps sending their propaganda and I considered sending her that info, but didn't.

11. The Republicans who value their careers are keeping their distance.
I think a number of prominent potential VP candidates told McCain to piss up a rope. All of the non-crazies know this is a losing year AND a losing ticket, and they don't wanna get any muck on them.

And just look at the fourth-string spox critters and strategists McCain has, too! Nobody who has a future in the party wants to get anywhere near McCain and Caribou Barbie. They're a joke.

12. Crist is a populist Repub
...not a far right one. He sees McCain imploding by embracing the far right with Palin and losing the independent vote. So instead of aligning himself with that defective thinking he's staying as is in hopes of being re-elected in '10.

18. Of course it does
The real problem is election fraud.

Crist is distancing himself from divisive GOP tactics because he sees the writing on the wall; FL is leaning Obama. He's got to appeal to the people down the middle to be re-elected in two years.
