Hearing loss can be funny
So I was talking to my son on the phone about my trip to DC for the march this weekend as my husband sat next to me on the sofa. I mentioned to the kid that I still had to make my protest sign. He seemed surprised somehow, so I said, "well, it's not like they have protest sign kiosks there where you can buy them." At which point my husband said (or at least I thought he said), "Yeah, like Pinko's." Of course he really said "Kinko's" . . .

But maybe, if we don't accomplish our goals with this march that would be a great franchise idea:

Pinko's Protest Signs

Anybody interested?

1. You really could do that
"Impeach Bush"

"No More War"

and several other standards

You could sell to the freepers too, you know, "Get a brain, morans" would be one.

5. A man goes to his doctor and says....
...I think my wife is going deaf and I want to buy her a hearing aid.The doctor says that in order to get the right hearing aid he needs to know just how deaf his wife is.The guy asks how he can tell. The doctor says to walk up behind her and to repeat the same question until she replies. So he goes home and walks up fifteen feet behind his wife and asks "What's for Dinner?" No reply...So he moves to ten feet behind her and says "What's for dinner?" Again no reply...So he move to five feet behind her and asks "What's for dinner?" His wife turns and says "For the THIRD time you deaf Bastard,MEATLOAF-Now go and buy a hearing aid or get the hell out!!!".

6. Yep, that sounds about right
I just imagined it would be happening to us in our 70s, not our 50s!

So all you kids out there in DU-land, beware the danger of rock and roll! Protect your ears or you will start sounding stupid far before your time!
