Christopher Buckley Backs Obama, Is Fired from National Review
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1113073/christopher_buckley_backs_obama_is.html

Susan Davis reports in the Wall Street Journal that Christopher Buckley, son of conservative icon William F. Buckley, has been fired from The National Review for endorsing Barack Obama.

In her article "Buckley is Out at National Review After Obama Endorsement," Davis said that Buckley, the back page columnist for The National Review, created so much of a stir with his endorsement of the Democratic contender that he offered his resignation and it was immediately accepted.

Davis' article goes on to say that Buckley made his stand in an article titled "Sorry Dad, I'm Voting for Obama" on the DailyBeast.com.

In the article he says of Obama that he "...has a first-class temperament and first-class intellect..." Of McCain he says that he has "...become irascible and snarling and, that his positions change..."

2. I'm not 100% surprised at all this
I have no doubt the late Wm F. Buckley would not have voted for Obama.

I have reservations on whether he would have voted for mc bush.

He had become a sharp critic of the theocratic turn the republikkan party had taken.

I do find it interesting that the article posted a picture of Wm F and not one of Christopher
