Glenn Beck moving to Faux News

Update: Fox News has announced that Glenn Beck will host the 5PM hour, beginning next spring. Beck signed a multi-year agreement to host a weekday program at 5PM as well as a weekend show on the network. Press release below.

Original Post: Glenn Beck is close to a deal to host the 5PM hour on Fox News Channel, sources tell the Huffington Post.

Beck currently hosts a show on CNN's Headline News as well as a radio show, for which he signed a $50 million, five-year deal last year. Beck also signed a $3 million book deal in May.

The 5PM hour on Fox News Channel is currently occupied with "America's Election HQ," a replacement for John Gibson's "The Big Story".

I still don't know what the hell that ass is doing on "Headline News." (Nancy Grace either, for that matter...) Why would a channel, supposedly meant of focus on up-to-the-minute news, give some bloviator a talk show to hog up a whole hour- especially some ultra-right-wing jerk like Beck? Hopefully CNN doesn't replace him with Michael Savage or something; gotta keep things fair and balanced, y' know...?
