No money is available for anything except for transactions which go through the Bush Family (capital F) He/they didn't care what bullshit story they pedaled to justify their means; when SS Privatization didn't sell as a way to funnel the last of treasury to themselves, they just took a different route.

Look, me and many other DUers wrote about this exact same situation years ago. Check my journal. In fact, many of my references to the then-impeding collapse don't live up (or down?) to how bad things might turn out to be.
