3. Yes it;s well spent. After all, if the journalists won't do their jobs
someone has to inform the american voters.

jesus but our media is an international embarrassment. most voters don't know about AIP. It would be hard for Todd Palin to get security clearance based on this. It is relevant and yet...silence. ACORN all the time.

What a bunch of sad irrelevant losers. We do more research here in half an hour than they do all week it seems.

4. 20 THOUSAND DOLLARS PER SECOND!!!!!!!!
That, by my quick estimation, is what this Bush administration has cost the American public during its 8 years in office. 20,000 vs 52. If Al Gore had more money to spend in 2000, we wouldn't now be 11 fucking trillion dollars in debt right now. How about showing some perspective, CNN?

5. My understanding is that it's Obama's money to spend
How about a little reportage, CNN, on how much per second is being spent on the quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan? The Wall Street bailout? After all, I have a little more personal stake in that money that's being flushed down the toilet, never to return, courtesy of the fuckers who've been running our country into the ground for the last seven plus years.

9. Sucks when you beat them at their own game huh?
Gee too bad all those people sent him all that money. Of course he changed the system and went around all the donors that they were just sure they had covered.

6. Americans spend $500/second on ice cream
At 15 billion a year on ice cream and about 30 million seconds in a year.

Sad that a news agency for gods sake has no sense of priorities. Spending 1/10 on democracy what we spend on ice cream is a bad thing. No wonder the Chinese will eat us alive.

8. Last night Campbell Brown said that both campaigns should send their
campaign money to food banks & homeless shelters if they really cared about Americans. :eyes: I understand her point that the amount of money spent on these campaigns is mind-boggling, but throwing a money at these charities is a temporary band-aid, not a fix for what caused the problem.

I wonder, how much does Ms. Brown give to those types of charities?

17. Let's start with Rush Limbaugh!
It would be a double whammy of good -- money for shelters & food banks & less hate on the air waves.

;)

Then imagine again what you could do with a Hundred million dollars a day. Exxon has been making more than that amount for over four years straight in Pure unadulterated NET PROFIT every single day.. NET PROFIT after ALL expenses have been paid. OVER One Hundred Million Dollars a Day I think they can afford to allow oil prices to come down a bit until after the election if it helps Republicans. Afterall they have had one hell of an eight year ride and really would like more of that..Imagine Exxon might only make fifty million a day Net Profit for a few weeks.. Oh the Horror... How can they ever survive...
