1. And, the Dems will have a filibuster proof majority,
and leave traitor joe without a friend. The monkey in the middle.

2. sure hope so--don't stop working, Georgia!
plus, a lot of those Senators aren't "real" Dems. Have to make sure we get progressives in Congress who won't flee to the Republicans at the first sign of danger.

13. Martin is a real progressive.
What a lovely change he'll be after "Shameless" Chambliss. Found out about that nickname from CitizenPatriot earlier. :-)

4. And the thing is Joe won't be able to get one of those soft jobs
in a right-wing think tank. At least Mitch and Saxby could snare one of those.

3. I hope Saxby goes down blubbering like a little boy
And here's to Max Cleland, with hopes HE gets to head up the Veteran's Administration.

6. Hey BOSS, I hear the Dem is doing pretty good down there
Not in striking distance yet, but not impossible, either. I suspect that if Mississippi's black vote comes out at an historically strong rate, we can win that seat, too.

11. Wicker and Musgrove
can't be seen for all the mud that's been slung. Supporters on both sides are saying stop already. I believe Obama might just push Musgrove over the top.

8. Musgrove's getting close, but I'm not holding my breath
I just don't see it happening (and I hope I'm wrong). Dude, has this been just about the nastiest Senate campaign in history, or WHAT!!!! Did you know that Musgrove and Wicker were ROOMMATES in law school??? I guess that's it for the friendship, huh!

:hi:

By the way, I'd dearly love to see Mitch McConnell sent packing in KY!

10. Hey Bake
I read about the nastiness every day in the Gulfport paper but we get New Orleans local channels so I get to see the mudslinging between Mary Landrieu and dunderhead John Kennedy. Money from one side or the other will be pouring into Mississippi near the end of the month.
