can anyone name one thing that is not screwed up in this country
I have been thinking about this for years and I could find some things that still worked in a somewhat normal fashion.

Now at this point I think through each law and agency and right , I don't care what it is I seem to find nothing but dead ends and have to back out and try to find anything that might work as it was designed and I can't.

My lights go on when I flip the switch , that works. So far anyway.

1. If "screwed up" simply equals "not perfect", then no.

12. How about broken instead of screwed up
Just for an example this bailout or the government . Things appear to be normal when I look out the window for the most part but they certainly don't feel normal.

Like waiting for the next disturbing thing to leap out of the dark and ruin more peoples lives.

including his "war presidents can do anything" insanity, which SCOTUS shot down 8-1 (even Scalia couldn't stomach this one).

Congress, on the other hand, has been the great enabler.

10. Reconstituting America
I agree that what we have now in Washington is not what our framers had in mind.

It has been painfully brought to our attention that the greed, corruption and incompetence demonstrated by the washington suited blood sucking leaches may no longer be tolerated. They encourage each other to not do the 'popular' thing. Hey!! Wait a minute!! Are not, We the American Wage Earner, the majority and the 'popular'? Now is the time to vote out the control freaks and vote in those who will empower us.

15. The firefighters who fight the California wildfires.
These guys and gals are amazing to watch. Their water drops are the definition of precision. They'll stand and defend a house in the face of a wall of flames. Besides their courage, they have to be amazing athletes to keep going under the conditions they do. I salute them.

20. Yes. The thought processes of about 60% of Americans is showing
definite signs of working well. Those are the ones who are voting for Obama and Biden.

Another thing that is right: The S.O.S. of Ohio, M. Bruner.

But, if you are referring to the Federal Government, I'd have to say there is not one part of it that hasn't been corrupted by the Republicans. Not one.

28. The US Postal Service seems to work the best of any in the world.
I am fairly certain there are other Government Programs that Bush* didn't think about politicizing that are also doing well. Everything Bush* got involved with in any manner though is probably hurting.
