8. Hey Seems!
Is there any video of this? I watched the live stream on a local KC channel and it's just great hearing him talk to the voters. He had to tell one of them "Yes, I'm sure I'm Barack Obama"
How cool a phone call would that be to get.

11. New McCain ad just came out on that
Terrorist Obama abuses American fruit crops. Uses food as a toy while millions starve in troubled economy. Can we allow our crops to be treated that way by this man?

(My husband came up with that, <g> )

(I have been against Obama a long time, but I am beginning to come around even though the treatment of Bill and Hilary by some people on here angered and repulsed me. I already voted for Obama and Biden by absentee ballot. I had said his choice of VP would be my criteria of giving him my vote and I was greatly impressed by his choice of Biden The only thing that gives me some assurance that he will be elected is that there are a hell of a lot more of us than there are of them and sooner or later they will realise this and turn tail like the cowards they are. I don't put anything past Bush and Mccain and people like Palin and Michelle. What makes this different is that for once, Obama doesn't seem to either. He's impressing me with how he is handling what's happening. Quickly and deftly. My husband refers to Palin as the homecoming queen has a gun. We both know fascism can be candy-coated and shiny for the masses. We've watched as the usual garbage has come out. You know how they say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? Lady Liberty has been scorned.

I watched the debates, and my husband and myself were trying to figure out what was so familiar about Obama's handling of McCain in the final one. Then it dawned on us.

Have you ever seen a kid in a store have a tantrum? Sometimes there is no other action but to wait, because it dies eventually. The more attention you pay it, the longer it goes on. It's a battle of wills between parent and child, and it's more than often pointless. Obama is patient with McCain, he knows its a tantrum, but he also won't give McCain the candy bar he wants. McCain knows this. Obama knows this. It's all McCain has, the tantrum. So he makes it as dramatic as possible. He waits. He understands. He seizes the opportunity. He's the patient but not about to take any shit father.

What I liked in the last debate was that Obama smiled and grinned, (showing people a different side besides the intellectual, polished politician ) and was a lot like my husband when my husband knows he is right. I know he is right but I fuss at him anyway. I am just that kid, having that tantrum, because I can.

I love him dearly.
I don't think love is involved in the case for Obama and McCain. <g>

To wind up, my husband and entire family love to play Sims 2. We made Obama and McCain, actually my husband did. They live in the same house in the game. (My husband said its probably one of several homes mccain sim owns <g>)

From almost the start, Obama sim beat the shit out of McCain sim. (If you play sims2 you are familiar with the slapping and the attacks and the dustball fights <g>)

My husband said it was glorious to watch. <g>
