1. Powell implied that he didn't like Sarah Palin's convention speech...

...which portrayed people in small towns as being better than people elsewhere.

Most of us never liked her convention speech in the first place, but it's nice to see someone on national TV criticize it (Powell didn't directly refer to it, but he said that Obama's message is that all towns have value and not just small towns.)
