SNL Palin
My cable went out last night in the middle of SNL, so I just now saw the second Palin bit. Did anyone else notice that all that country twang, "ya sure, you betcha" stuff was gone from her voice? (Except for one "you betcha" thrown in as a joke.) She sounded completely different. Obviously, all that crap is just something she does to appeal to the rednecks. I'd been wondering about that, because anyone who had been in broadcast journalism would have learned to purge all that from their public speaking voice.

1. Creating a brand
in much the same manner as Paris Hilton: acting stupid doesn't necessarily mean that you are. Too bad that StAoRdAdH has to find out that it's hard to shed that first, major role. Just ask Leonard Nimoy.
