Yes, I don't like how he sold the war; but Colin Powell has some redeeming qualities. Lieberman has none.

3. Oh, man, do we have to choose?
Because that's bad, really bad, but who the hell would choose Lieberman? I wish he'd just disappear. He's too terrible for words.

9. Although it pains me to say it, except for being a war-mongerer
And willing to have the U.S. bomb anyone that has differences with Israel, he votes the Democratic agenda. Mostly. I dislike both for the very same reason. They each have a personal agenda that doesn't jibe with the best interests of this country.

8. Colin Powell has some redeeming qualities?
name one. his 'integrity' is myth. he started his career by laying the foundations for the cover-up of the my lai massacre. he's been a water carrier for the RW his entire life.

17. He started by covering up my Lai.
Any claim that he regretted that is disproved by the fact that he compounded the crime when he went and lied to the UN. He only turned against the Bush regime when the war went badly and Bush became politically unpopular. Condi at least has the integrity to stick with Bush through hard times.

12. I gotta disagree .......
.... Powell's actions were arguably criminal. Lieberman is just a worthless turd that keeps swirling in the bowl and refuses to flush.
