Would you be pissed off if it was suggested the Powell endorsement was simply because of race?

The only facts about Powell that are intellectually germane to THIS thread are the following two:

1) Powell endorsed Barack Obama
2) Powell and Obama are of the same race.

Some are now suggesting that Powell endorsed soley because they're both black. They reasons he cited for his endorsement were just a massive smoke screen to cover his real reason ..... Barack is the Black Guy.

I heard the entire 'logic' on this from Pat Buchanan. I heard hints of it grow all day long from the various second string right wingers who we get to se eon weekends when the big guns are off to their dachas.

It would be like raging against a mosquito that just bit you. That mosquito is just acting according to its basic nature. So I swat it to prevent it from biting anyone else, just like I vote to keep that rotten party away from my government.
