3. In Oxford, England
there is a street called 'Cheney Lane' - not far from one called 'Roosevelt Drive'. Roosevelt Drive really was named after FDR, but Cheney Lane was named after someone other than Dick.

There is a school on Cheney Lane, which because of its location is called Cheney School. I always find the name quite disconcerting, especially as a high proportion of Oxford's other schools are named after saints!

You certainly never hear anything about it on the teevee. It's like he doesn't exist!
