This is the Opening : COLIN POWELL SLANDERS THE GOP

Twice today, both on Meet The Press and when he was iterviewed outside the studio, Colin Powell said that the republicans are running a campaign claiming that Barack Obama is a Moslem. Powell says this is "unacceptable".

I agree, it is unacceptable for someone supposedly as experienced as Colin Powell to manufacture this slander out of thin air. We follow this election pretty closely, and neither McCain or the GOP has EVER even hinted that Obama is Moslem.

In the same sentence, Powell disnissed both this imaginary GOP campaign that Obama is a Moslem, and dismissed the charge that obama has associated with a terrorist.

Powell is either dangerously misinformed or engaging in deliberate slander.

When I heard this fanasy "Moslem" charge straight from his own mouth, I lost all respect for Colin Powell. And Powell is wrong about Ayers as well.

I've got to where I just can't visit that site anymore as it is just too damn depressing. To think the people that post there are actually lose among the population is plain scary.
