I don't know the context. I am thinking its about the danger of acting too slowly. It seems appropo the financial tsunami - I think we ain't seen nothing yet.

5. I like the Einstein quote
"Time is what keeps everything from happening all at once". May be apocryphal, but it's an interesting observation.

Maybe the Buddha quote means that one shouldn't try to defer happiness - learn to appreciate the moment you're in. Or, as I put it "eat dessert first".
