It must really suck to be McCain..
He's wanted this so long he can taste it
He sold what was left of his soul to run
He's seen as a grumpy old man
His ill-chosen runningmate has taken over his campaign
He has had to resort to demonizing a decent man (and he knows it's wrong)

He's right about one thing.. he's NOT Bush... he's WORSE than Bush..

McCain did have an aura or respectability about him before, and Bush was always thought of as a slacker-lightweight..

He knows it's not gonna happen for him, and instead of taking the high road, he's wallowing deeper in slime..

4. What will happen to him after this race?
I can't imagine anyone wanting to reach across the aisle to him EVER AGAIN. He's a snake now. I think even very stoic politicians have seen how personal this is and have lost respect for McCain due to his total sell out of his soul to achieve this title. I'd be surprised if Hillary, Bill, or Joe Biden can stomach a relationship with him after this.
