No takers for contest that requires abstinence
The prize includes $10,000, free flowers, invitations and wedding treats

ATLANTA - A contest that would pay $10,000 to an engaged couple, as long as they abstain from premarital sex, hasn't gotten any takers. The deadline for the Marriage for a Lifetime contest is Oct. 31. The prize includes free flowers, invitations and other wedding treats.

So far, organizer Phillippia Faust hasn't gotten any entries.

She said, "In our society it's going to be hard to find" a couple that hasn't had premarital sex.

1. Um...how would anyone prove the abstenance?
Sword word? Medical examinations? Requiring proof on the sheets on wedding night?

Just another example of someone trying to peek into someone's bedroom.

2. abstain from premarital sex only with each other?
Is that a loophole?

3. I heard a report this morning that they were considering relaxing the rules -
they would allow couples that HAVE had sex, but are now willing to go celibate until the day of their marriage, to now enter!

I wonder how many times the rules committee has been asked by prospective couples, "Can we still do it in the butt?"
