Interestingly, some freepers aren't COMPLETELY nuts

Why is it yesterday when people believed Ashley's story that many people here on FR said that the attack reflected poorly on Obama and that the attack would hurt the Obama Campaign.

However, now that it is know that Ashley, a McCain volunteer set the whole thing up to blame a black man for a savage attack, some are saying that it will have no impact on the campaign at all.

Now, how is it that you do not think that racist Ashley's blaming a black man for a politically motivated attack will not impact that election?

Glad we didn't climb on her bandwagon. We have seen this before but usually among lefty wackos. A good reminder that they exist on the Right too.

There were several of us on many threads yesterday who called B.S. on this girl's story, only to be accused of being trolls, DUmmies, KOS, etc...

Now we have folks over here trying to spin that she was some kind of reversedoublesupersecret Obama supporter. People need to get a grip.

It's like when Hamas "endorses" Obama, it's proof that he's supported by terrorists, but when al Qaeda "endorses" John McCain, it's "reverse psychology" because they want Obama to win. :shrug:
