The Evidence:

A Republican and activist for the party.

She cut into her own skin in order to "prove" that this assault happened.

She claimed to be attacked by a black man. Note that she didn't claim that a leprechaun, a pink elephant, or Barack Obama himself attacked her, but some random black man. There was an obvious attempt to stir up racism here.

What do you think?

to me as someone who cooked up this hoax in hopes that it would benefit McCain/Palin and give her some fame along with it. And she got extra lucky when McCain and Palin called her. How special. :loveya:

She assumed her story would be taken at face value - I mean really, who wouldn't believe that she was attacked by a large Black male Obama supporter who carved a B on her face? :sarcasm:

Don't know her well enough to say she's ill or calculating. But I watched a number of her YouTube videos and read her College Republican blog posts. She reminds me so much of a girl I knew when I was her age who was just thick-headed, whiny, impossible to reason with, overwrought about every little thing and - most important - terribly immature. That's why I think she's just plain dumb.
