socialism
If Sarah Palin's focus is programs for special needs children, programs the use public money for the common good-- isn't that socialism?

2. yup
Just about anything can be construed as "socialism" if somebody wants to demonize it enough. Republicans like to do that, even though they often want to do similar things. Go figure. :)

5. Reeps are the worst whiny baby socialists..
for the rich, the elites, financial
institutions, corporate CEO raiders, etc.

Reep philosophy: Privatize profits,
socialize risks.

10. Medicare is not free
It comes out of your social security. My mother pays 48.00 per month out of her social security check for medicare. Your amount is determined by how big your SS check is.

7. people from a local church were always whining about some local programs
that got gov't grants.

then they got into the business of providing similar services...& started taking...gov't grants...

they still whine about big gov't, though.
