The level of unification we've achieved since those challenging primary days is amazing.

But my eyesight is going, it is hard to get to sleep after watching creative post after post appearing...the days are pretty much becoming DU- TPM - fivethirtyeight - DU....Obama HQ to work on the campaign (with a few sneak peaks)..."Hi, honey I'm home"...dinner...goodnight, kids...walk the dogs...DU,,TPM....etc etc

Carpel tunnel! Insomnia!

And boy, is it fun!

2. I'm taking 3 days off.
Heading to Yosemite for 3 day, Sun - Wed. No TV. No internet.

Hopefully the beauty of the place will ease the withdrawl and the anxiety.

3. Addicted? Are you crazy? I can quit any time I want. I quit dozens of times a day...
...like when I go to the bathroom, sleep, get some coffee, answer the phone. YOU might see something sick about spending 16 hours a day on DU, but I see it as just temporary insanity that'll go away early next month.

4. there will be much more coming....
....to fuel your addiction....the finish line is just the beginning....

....there will be (are) powerful forces pushing President Obama to the right while we, the grassroots progressives, must fiercely struggle to pull him to the left....let the games begin....

11. My friend, when America is happy and peaceful
so is much of the world. Other than that, I just LOVE watching you guys. It's a sort of vicarious thrill, knowing that we went through it last November when the country finally had enough of John Howard. Ya know, I think I know more about US politics than I do about Australian! It's like watching a big old soap opera play out.

10. No kidding.
I'd be on DU all day long with breaks only to eat, sleep & go to the bathroom if I had my druthers.

15. Coffee and DU
nearly every morning for the past 7 years. I gave up newspapers in the 90s because they're right wing rags where I live, and finding DU after the debacle of 2000 has saved my sanity. I've been hooked ever since.
