Anyone else finding that their screens jump to the Cafe Press ads?
This is just slightly annoying, having to scroll back to the top since every DU place I go rivets itself on the ad!

11. I don't claim to know how it works...
but since I switched away from IE pop-ups and roll-overs have almost disappeared completely.And "glitches" are gone as well.

How do I turn off google ads? I am an old fart from the era when computers filled entire rooms.

Here's my set up:

Donor, Google Ads off
Safari Browser on OSX. (There's a Windows version too.)

What's your setup to see if there's anything we can ascertain from that.

9. I've tried with ads on and off and still don't jump like they say. I am looking
for a constant with those who are suffering this irritant. Is it browser, status, settings, post count?

8. It' just an incentive to get non-paying members to cough up.
The inconvenience of starting at the bottom of the screen should be an inticement for people who haven't paid to do so.

19. Just started happening for first time ever this AM with the cafepress ad.
I've donated in the past...got laid off a few months ago. Donating time and $$$ to Obama. I can't say I love the tone of your post!

22. I'm a donor, use Firefox AND have the AdBlocker Plus plug-in.
No problems here unless DU itself is acting skee-wompish (which is entirely too often lately). :shrug:

I need to know the web address in order to block the ad.

If possible, I would like to know the entire address, not just "http://cafepress.com". Thanks.
