How much influence will President Obama have on selecting NEW Congressional leadership?
Does he realize how much better off he and the country will be if Pelosi and Reid are replaced?

Who would you like to see as Senate Majority Leader? (Webb? Clinton?)

And Speaker of the House? (Kucinich? In my dreams!)

1. The Senate & House pick their own leadership.
The Executive branch of the government has nothing to do with it.
Obama if he's wise will stay out of it & I think he is.

4. Problem is the arm twisting the entrenched leadership apply to remain in power.
A democratic revolt among Democrats absolutely needs cover from the leader of the party. And that will be Barack Obama.

6. She just went on inactive status. Barack himself is inactive as an Illinois attorney.

7. I wouldn't wager on Pelosi being replaced.
I don't think she's going to surrender that easily.

When Carter was President, he often had problems with his Democratic Congress.

8. Absolutely right. She will not go gently. It'll take courage from a movement.
