Bob the Boilermaker backs Obama

Hi, I’m Bob the Boilermaker. Fifty-seven years old. Not in arrears in taxes to Missouri, Kansas or the Fed. Apprenticeship completed. Can’t afford to buy the railroad. NRA member.

I believe in family values. Married now to my one and only for 36 years. We bought a house that we can afford, and we plan to have it paid off before we retire. Our property taxes and insurance are paid on time every year.

Why do I write? I am tired of being compared to Joe the Plumber and Joe Six-Pack. I am neither. My wife is not, nor does she wish to be, a Sarah Palin. She is a public schoolteacher and proud of her work. My wife is proud of all of her students.

We are proud of our armed forces. We are just ordinary Americans trying to make sure that we make ends meet.

Are we Republican? No. We are in full support of Obama and Biden.

We’ll be at the polls on Nov. 4. Will you?
