Elizabeth Hasselbeck is on TV with Palin right now
I mention to my dad that she isn't very smart...says stupid things sometimes.
He says, "She is the only intelligent one on that show! The rest of them are idiots!"
I say why, and he says something about the others being more liberal.
I told him that just because someone has different beliefs than you it doesn't make them an idiot.
He just muttered some things about "liberal," "Obama," "stupid," and "welfare."
I tried. He's set.

I can't remember specifics, but I'm sure he has.
He also called homosexual people "queers" in front of my boyfriend and I when he was saying why he thinks they shouldn't get married. His point being..."They are queers, and queers shouldn't get married."
My bf and I greatly disagree with him...and think we should stick a No on prop 8 sticker on his work van. But he would flip a bitch if I tried that.

How did she become an expert in energy, I wonder?

Was it part of her training as a beauty pageant contestant?

Did she study energy in college while getting her journalism degree?

Maybe it was her time as a sports reporter that gave her "expert" status.

I guess she negotiated some sort of energy pipeline in Alaska, effectively leasing land to an energy company.

I once leased a house to chemistry professor, but that doesn't make me a chemistry expert.
