2. Man, just imagine what their profits would be
and how many new jobs they would create if we gave them a HUGE tax cut!

3. NATIONALIZE
Screw nationalizing the banks. Cut defense spending in half, nationalize the oil companies, and voila! Deficit disappears. The oil belongs to us.

4. $276,926 quarterly earnings (EBITA) per employee
They have about 81,000 employees. Their Income Before Tax (EBT) for the quarter is $22,431,000,000.

Ya gotta wonder why the employees aren't paid more. After all, that's income AFTER deducting all expenses like employee compensation (including executives).

7. I have no idea what you're asking. Do you?
Edited on Thu Oct-30-08 01:55 PM by TahitiNut
The median amount of what? Of the EBITA for each of the employees at Exxon/Mobil? (That would make no sense.) The median or the AVERAGE (mean)? Average of what? Average Net Income per Employee in the Oil industry? Of all S&P 500 companies?

Why don't you take a look-see at http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/ratios?symbol=XOM.N

Maybe it'd help.
Net Income/Employee (TTM) $540,099 $294,001 $3,494 $98,793
