4. Load of brush to the landfill
putting new screen door on front door, making some killer potato salad to take to my old fart luncheon, taking down Halloween lights, prepositioning Christmas lights for later "put up," geting house bug treatment on monday morning (an every three month event, a wonderful investment.) Doing whatever my wife tells me to.

My wife and I are best friends and by far I am the lucky one. I've been happily married 35 years, she's been happily married about 20. She gets together my to do list knowing that if I don't get it done by noon it will wait for another day. She's my best Bud!

8. Drugs
I've almost got all the junk food I'll need, but I'll hit Harris Teeter on Monday for the final fling.

The drugs are prescription, and if I time them right, I won't flip out.

That, and watching the WUSA-TV "House" marathon until 11 pm. After that, I'll switch to MSNBC and find out where - in what country - I'll be living for the next four years.

18. Managing canvassing teams for the Obama campaign in my part of the county
Our team sent nine teams out today, knocked on nearly 300 doors (not bad for a rural part of the county) and got people out to vote! Tomorrow some of our team members get to go see Joe and Jill Biden before they come back to do it all again.

My voice is shot because I'm still getting over a bad cold, but maybe it can make it another few days. And if I can't work the phones, I'll do data entry or bring snacks and drinks for the other volunteers.
