8. My parents said the Detroit Free Press ran its presses again Wed evening.....
.... and there was a line wrapped around their building downtown to snap them up.

9. Sorry about that
I snagged the NY Times, St. Louis Post Dispatch and even USA Today early yesterday morning from the free paper rack on campus. They were all gone by 10:00, glad I got in early.

This apparently the case across the country, paper sales had a big day yesterday, everybody wants some tangible piece of this historic event. I imagine that it will be the same way with the papers on Jan. 21, they'll sell out early as people snap them up for posterity's sake.

11.  I picked up five papers
To give to each of my grandchilren who were voting for the first time, two 18 yr old grandaughters, and three 19 yr old grandsons. All Obama supports, talk about excitment, they are all so proud!I put them in special envelopes to help preserve them, a great memory for them.

12. I didn't go out until noon either, and there were no papers to be found.
And everywhere I went, there were other people there looking for papers too. Not bad for a red state.
