What's The Possibility That Bush Will Sign an Economic Stimulus Package?

Now that Bush has no incentive to help the Economy (other than what is left to steal) What are the chances he will sign a stimulus package that includes unemployment benefits?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday urged passage of at least $61 billion in new economic stimulus funding this month, but said the future of the legislation requires cooperation from Republicans in the Senate and President George W. Bush.

1. Bush is going to do anything he can to make

Obama's Presidential years even harder. He will do something stupid. He has one more catastrophe left before he leaves.
That why he needs to be impeached and imprisoned.

2. Yes.. that's what I am afraid of. I know lots of folks whose Benefits have expired.

I was wondering (With Christmas coming) if there is any chance Bush would do the right thing and extend benefits. I guess I know the answer... waiting for Bush to do something right.... I'll be waiting a long time... :-)

3. You know, something just occurred to me...

Since they equate all government support with socialism, should republicans be able to spend stimulus checks and still call themselves republicans? I seem to remember certain rethugs gleefully planning golf paraphernalia purchases and Sam's Club hoard binges with this past year's bright dripping red evil socialist handout vouchers... I mean stimulus checks... :evilgrin:
