Some Web Site shout outs - these kept me sane and informed last night
Biggest kudo goes to DU, of course - it was a lean mean efficiently running machine all night long. We've really got something here - a community of inspired, enlightened change agents.

www.fivethirtyeight.com - WOW - great running blog, the state visit entries over the past few weeks were fascinating and gave a clear indication of the strength of Obama's GOTV game and the weakness of McCain's so called efforts. I've been addicted for weeks, but on election night and the close lead up it provided optimism and accurate information.

www.realclearpolitics.com - again, leading up to the election their daily list of polls gave us grounding, sanity, and reality - the data we needed to be optimistic. Didn't use this much last night, of course, but it was a good reference.

www.talkingpointsmemo.com - I don't see this mentioned all that much at DU, but Josh provides a great resource for progressive news and thoughts. His live blogging last night was superb.

www.electoral-vote.com - another that I grew to depend on each day leading up to the election, love the way you can size the map to the populations.

We take for granted what the internets (tubes to you, criminal Stevens) provide to us...the resources at our disposal are remarkable. We only have basic cable, so the web sites above were lifelines for me.
