It was an extraordinary effort. It was relentless. It made a difference.

2. We worked very hard.
It was difficult when we considered that the task was essentially impossible. To have this payoff is triply sweet.

I wish Indiana could have been called before they made the final calling of the election for Obama, but it is still sweet.

6. I wish I had pictures and names, but some young folks were there every time I dropped in.
A really tall guy called Hunter, and a lovely young lady named Joy. They gave it all to Obama.

8. I hope Hunter and Joy continue for the cause. I'm a native Hoosier
and this is certainly good information to hear after all the 'other' years! HA!

4. BIG congrats. .
Since 1964? That was just before the "60's" became "The Sixties". . or right on the cusp..
Was the switch to Repub due to the Civil Rights Act?

(just guessin')

5. Yes, the Civil Rights flip, as predicted by LBJ.
Race continues to be a big problem. If you check the map of counties that voted for Obama, it gets pretty thin south of Lake Michigan in Indiana.
