I think I might like to donate to one that seeks to ban all civil marriage. What's good for the goose....

1. A little over 600,000 I believe.
It is way too easy to get a proposition on the ballot. Each year, there is more and more and more nonsense to wade through.

8. I usually do go "NO" across the board.
I figure if the law was a truly good idea, chances are it should be introduced and debated in the state legislature (you know, LIKE EVERY OTHER LAW). The only reason someone makes it a "proposition" is usually because the idea is so ludicrous that they know it has no chance in hell of making it through the state legislature, so they're trying to game the system.

I voted NO across the board this time (I always do) and yet Prop 2 & 8 both passed, which is 'funny' (in a hilariously sad kinda way), because apparently the state of California cares more about farm animal rights than they do about Gay people's rights...

You know, I have always thought the propositions thing in California was kind of stupid.

4. I think one that bans "special rights" to Mormons would be better ...
it's a lifestyle choice they made and they're trying to indoctrinate members into their radical lifestyle. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!

7. Why not one to eliminate tax exempt status for ALL churches and church owned
property.
With such massive debt and rising budget deficits California
can no longer afford to give a free ride to religious clubs.
