2. Now it makes sense
No wonder he was worried about Obama raising his taxes when he bought his $250,000 plumbing business?

Am I the only one who thinks Joe was a Republican plant, and that this is yet another example of their shiftiness blowing up in their faces?

5. I actually don't think that. I think Sam the Dumbfuck saw a chance to expose
his very red neck to public view one day when Obama was in the neighborhood, it got picked up by the media, and the incredibly inept McCain people ran with it. I don't think they are incapable of trying to set something like this up, but as I understand the way the event happened, it would have just been too hard to accomplish logistically, to be sure that Sam the Sleaze would get a chance like that.

8. I've said that from the beginning.
Joe seemed just a bit too eager to get in the spotlight.

6. That reminds me of the farmer in Iowa who has signs in his field
calling for an end to welfare.

All the while he sits on his ass and collects government subsidies for land he does not farm.

These people are just fucking clueless.

11. I'm sorry, but if you're going to call JTP a dumb fuck -- which I agree with, btw -- you ought
to at least spell the word "plumber" correctly.

16. So how is welfare different from faith-based charities?
Both use taxpayer money to provide free services to people including meals, clothes, shelter, medical care, job search, etc. Legally, faith-based charities aren't allowed to impose any specific religion on you in offering those services.

I don't know personally, but it seems to me one could live the life of a welfare queen on faith-based charities just as easily (a relevant term) as on welfare.

So what's the difference?

Or more specifically, why are Repubs okay with one and not the other?
