Poor Tina Fey. She lost out this week big time.

Sarah Failin' slips away from our consciousness more with each passing day.
Tina had a good gig going and now it's all gone. She had a good ride while it lasted.
Thanks for the laughs Tina.

10. No, not really.
It's a darling of critics, but not of viewers in terms of numbers. Fey's new found popularity may change/have changed this though. The season opener has done much better than ever, but there is no way to know if those numbers will stick around for an extended period.

2. She asked for it ...

She implored the American people to put her out of that particular job.

3. Haven't you ever watched 30 Rock? She great in it! There's a reason why she won an Emmy
for best actress in a tv comedy. Add to that she won an Emmy for writing for the show and the show itself won best comedy. Alec Baldwin winning an Emmy for it wasn't too shabby either.

Tina will be around for a very long time.

4. Fey threatened to "leave Earth" if Palin was elected.
30 Rock's still here. :bounce:

The Oprah hallucination this week was hi-larious!

12. I know! I haven't watched the whole ep. yet, but I caught that bit on a news show and it was damn
near cry-worthy. Tina Fey is a genius.

5. Tina and Sarah can go back to their old jobs.
I was quite tired of both the fake and real Sarahs. This is best for all of us.

6. actually, she was hoping she wasn't going to have to continue
acting as SP after Nov. 4th. No loss for her, but certainly a loss for us in entertainment value, and a great loss for SNL ratings.

for months to come. After that interview yesterday, I'm hoping she'll be on tonight.

19. No -- Palin will NOT be around for just months, likely to be a MAJOR voice in GOP for years to come
Being an asshole is NOT a disqualifier for being a MAJOR voice in the GOP. Haven't you seen those polls showing SIXTY FOUR percent of Repukes want to see Palin run for president in '12?

14. 30 Rock is getting great ratings now.
I highly doubt she is crying while the show she produces writes and stars in is getting such killer ratings.

As we all did, even those who supported McPalin.

Her career is going nowhere but up.

21. Tina Fey stated she didn't want to be playing the role long term. I think mostly
cause she wanted Obama to win. So I'm sure she's pretty happy.
