defining the economic stimulus
Obama called for an immediate economic stimulus bill, but never gave particulars, as far as I heard. The media quickly jumped on it as "another tax rebate." Andrea Mitchell was just on Rachel suggesting the same thing - that Obama was calling for a middle class tax cut.

What Rachel originally mentioned was the things that should have been in the first economic stimulus - money for state governments, unemployment extension, money for food stamps and Liheap, and investment money in alternative energy.

Those are what we need, but since Obama did not specify, he left a vacuum for the M$M to push for another tax rebate for the upper middle class.
